Welcome New Members! PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE JOINING!
Well, our community is growing and although we have some 30 posts a day (yes, we're chatty!), newbies may feel a little overwhelmed and not sure of where to start. So here are a few tips for you:
- Join the groups. The Misifts is the most active. We share our everyday life blunders, wooohooos and inspirations. The other groups are more interest based. Join as many groups as you want and share, comment, live, love, laugh!
- On the left hand side of Every page, under the google ads, and favorite links, you'll see "Latest Activities". These will tell you what has been posted before you logged in. Since we post often, not all posts are shown, but it's a great start to see what's been going on and what people are talking about currently.
- Click on the Tabs above. Feel free to share your videos, photos, music and events. Photos will be posted as soon as I approve them. NO sexual content permitted in photos. (But I'm French and I appreciate art! So if it's artistic, it'll pass!)
- People get confused with the Forum tab. The Forum is basically a place to post where everyone can see. If you post in a group, only group members will see. If you post in the forum, all BE Blog members will see. I've created sections for the Forum to help. These sections are listed on the left hand upper side of this Main Page. When you post in the Forum, you can choose to categorize your post or not. The latest dicussions in the Forum are posted under the Videos, here, on the Main Page, center. It's not because the latest discussion dates back a few months that other discussions aren't rolling elsewhere! When you join a group, the main page of the group will tell you what discussions have been posted and when the latest reply was.
- If you are crafty or have something to sell, please post in the BE Market Place section (click blue link, upper left hand side, "BE Market Place". I do NOT tolerate any type of spamming or forceful marketing, either in the blog or through the blog. Posting the same picture, video or sentence on everyone's personal page as a "Comment" is ridiculous, a waste of time and obnoxious. BE Blog has a very supportive community and if you respect it, it will serve you.
- The Music box on this Main Page is a compilation of the uploaded music that everyone posted. I'm not sure if it includes the music you put on your personal page! You'll have to figure that one out! Make sure you comply with copyright laws. I don't want to have to pay fees on the music here!
- Disclaimer; this is Not a Networking Blog. It is Not a Marketing Blog. It is Not a Preaching/Conversion Blog either! Friendships are created through the affinities of blogging together. Our members are Not here to pitch, they're here to share. If you pitch, you'll be banned! If you share, you'll be read! If you're rude or disrespectful you'll be banned too! This said, we only attract those who are like vibrations and if you are reading this, it's probably because there's something here for You!
